About us
My appreciation for the outdoors comes mainly from having lived on a farm at Tierworker (Cavan/Meath border) in Ireland all my childhood years.
As a child during a visit to my great Aunt Mary-Ellen (hence the brand Name) who influenced and sewed the seeds of knowledge about how past generations used to make delicious things out of what is growing around us in our unspoiled, Irish countryside. I’m still using that knowledge today to continue the legacy of which I am so proud and hope to pass it on to our future generations.
In 2015 I set out to commercialize our Cordials introducing them to you our customers initially at the little farmer’s markets in the local towns, then to bigger food events like our own great Taste of Cavan and Bord Bia, the Irish Food Authority even invited us to participate in Bloom. There our Cordials met with great appreciation from both the general public and many celebrity chefs also, so we knew we are giving people what they want, quality and satisfaction.
